Can’t comment on ‘value for money’ as it was a present – as a present it surpassed most others I’ve received over a lifetime of receiving presents. I was nervous – particularly of the landing, having heard plenty of horror stories. Now that I’ve been up once – and landed once – I am hungry for more trips. Such a superb way to view the landscape, present and history. We were particularly fortunate to fly over some of the more remote parts of Dartmoor – gaining a buzzard’s eye view of earthworks, strip fields, hut circles etc. The ‘team building’ element of the trip – helping prepare the balloon and pack it away at the end of the flight were all part of the experience and our pilot trod the path between safety announcements/instructions and anecdote with a light touch.

My wife brought the balloon flight for our 30 wedding anniversary as it’s something we always wanted to do. We had a magical trip over Dartmoor, it breathtaking, thanks to all of the crew for making it very special.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience.Everything was explained very well and we were well looked after. Will be doing another flight soon.

This was 4th attempt supposedly due to weather conditions. However the evening was most enjoyable and the staff were excellent. Champagne on the ground though as a hiccup with the glasses… no pun intended… I lie!!

This wassuch a fun day apart from having to wait for the two latecomers. The crew weregreat and the flight was magical – so peaceful and silent most of the time. I thought it was great and made a birthday present to remember. Thank you.

I realy enjoyed the flight.It was nice to have things explained to you. Also enjoyed taking part in getting the “envelope” out and up, and put away.

Nice flight, but if you had arrived slightly before us, you could have organised the take off spot in advance, which would have saved about 40mins of wasted time. Staff seemed stressed and slightly grumpy on occasions, to be honest. A bit more prep beforehand would have made everything work more smoothly and may have reduced the stress levels all round.

Overall our party really enjoyed our experience. Several things didnt go according to plan but the staff were skilled and competent and made us feel safe throughout. However we did feel that we could have have been made to feel more welcome on our arrival by the 3 crew. It seemed very much an everyday event for them and acknowledgement that for all of us it was a memorable event would have been nice. We felt that toilet facillities should have been available before/after the flight. Most people had travelled up to an hour to get to Larmer Tree and then had the next 4-5 hours with no toilet facilities available.
Despite the above we would all undertake another Ballon Flight. Thank you
