Ref: Balloon Flight – Monday evening 26th April.

Hi there,
I just wanted to let you know that the whole evening was fantastic – an amazing experience of a lifetime!
Having been totally unable to even think that I could go up in a balloon without coming out in a sweat, to doing it, was quite a huge achievement for me. Why was I so scared???
Anyway I thought you would like to know how positive it all was for me and I am sure for most of us.

This was an amazing experience,thanks to my brother mark and his wife Rachel for a brilliant birthday present and to my best friend Sarah for coming with me.It was fantastic! x

My family surprised me for my 65th birthday by giving me a voucher for a balloon flight. ( It pays to drop hints !!!)

Having heard so many tales of canceled flights because of the weather, I was thinking how many attempts would I have before I actually had my flight.

Well, I booked the Launceston flight (as we live in Truro ) for Thursday, April, 8th. and after a dismal Easter high pressure seemed to be building so fingers crossed !
Anyway, we arrived at the Homeleigh Garden Centre at 6.30 am in very misty conditions (we were first there !) and awaited the arrival of the others.

Gradually, more and more people arrived and it was looking good for our flight. As two people did not turn up, I persuaded my wife to join me on the flight and that made it so much more memorable because the weather was perfect and we had a wonderful experience that took us from Nether Bridge to Kelly Bray.

I think the whole experience was made so much more enjoyable for all the passengers because of the support of the team of Dee, (a cross between Richard Branson and Robert Lenkiewicz !) Marianne, Arthur and Robin.

Thanks again for a wonderful experience, we want to do it again !!
