This was a day to remember for the rest of our lives. Penny (my partner) and I were hugely excited in anticipation of the trip, but nothing could have prepared us for how fantastic the flight, service and crew were. From getting there and helping out with unpacking the balloon, to being in the air and the warmth of the staff afterwards, it was a day I will always remember fondly. Being in the air felt completely safe and offered breathtaking views over most of Somerset and some of Devon which blew away my expectations. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful, memorable morning. We will definitely recommend your company to anyone who will listen, and we will use you again in the future for our 2nd flight. We had an *** experience up until the point of landing, when the pilot miss judged the height and we hit a power line, this was a very frightening experience and I seriously thought this was the end, my 11 year old daughter was very brave, The basket was wedged under the cable and touching our heads, luckily it detached from the pole and we were free.
The rest of flight we were uncomfortable and we were concerned about every power line we passed until we landed.
The camera attached to the balloon detached itself with the cable, after the flight we returned to the site of the power cable and found the camera, we dropped it off to the pilot who told us he would report this to the office. I was expecting an email following the incident.
